The wind project in Buzau County in Romania, which was originally intended to transfer renewable energy to the Netherlands, has received authorization from the regulator agency for water and energy ANRE.
This is one of the final steps in the authorization process for the investment. The project developer now must prove that they have the financing for the construction of the energy facility.
The investor already has a contract with the Vestas for the wind farm’s design.
The project company First Look Solutions received a technical connection permit from the transmission system operator in 2021 for what will become, if realized, one of the largest wind farms in Romania.
First Look Solutions is 100 % controlled by NERO Renewables Romania, which is itself 75-25 % controlled by Danube Wind Holding 1 and Nero Renewables.
