The average electricity price on the day-ahead market (DAM) of HUPX in December 2025 reached €115.88/MWh, down 7% from November, when the average baseload price was €124.35/MWh. The average peak price on the DAM fell 9% to €129.3/MWh.
Traded volume on the day-ahead market totaled 3.04 million MWh, marking a 10% increase month-on-month and a 21% rise year-on-year compared to December 2024 (2.51 million MWh). The average daily traded volume in December stood at 98,085 MWh.
On the intraday market, total traded volume reached 1,038,406 MWh, a 9% decrease from the previous month, with an average daily volume of 33,497 MWh. The average price for hourly intraday products fell 8% to €118.08/MWh, reflecting lower market prices and trading activity compared to November.
