LNG Hrvatska has marked the arrival of the 125th cargo at the Krk LNG terminal, delivered by the LNG carrier Assos operated by Capital Gas. Although the operator did not reveal the shipment’s origin or destination, vessel tracking indicates it departed from the Freeport LNG terminal in Texas, USA.
The terminal reached its 100th cargo about a year ago, and deliveries are expected to increase further as Krk transitions to a higher operating capacity with the start of the new gas year.
Positioned as a key regional hub, the facility not only supplies Croatia but also channels gas to neighboring countries including Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Serbia and Montenegro.
