According to short-term energy statistics published by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, net electricity production in Croatia in November 2025 amounted to 1,256 GWh, a slight decrease of 0.6 % compared to 1,264 GWh in November 2024.
During the month, hydropower plants generated 480 GWh (38.2 %), thermal power plants produced 349 GWh (27.8 %), wind farms contributed 308 GWh (24.5 %), and solar power plants accounted for 48 GWh (3.8 %) of total electricity production.
Electricity imports reached 1,075 GWh, up 6.8 % from 1,007 GWh in November 2024, while exports rose to 722 GWh, an increase of 5.4 % compared to 685 GWh last year.
In terms of hydrocarbon production, Croatia produced 61 million cubic meters of natural gas in November 2025, down 10.3 % from the previous year. Natural gas imports increased significantly to 283 million cubic meters, up 58.1 % compared to November 2024. Crude oil production stood at 39,000 tons, a decrease of 2.5 %, while petroleum product output dropped to 283,000 tons, down from 302,000 tons in the same period last year.
